What
is VIP? VIP stands for Very Important Player. This is a soccer program for mentally and physically handicapped kids. The ages for these kids start at 4 1/2, currently there is no age limit for VIP players. We currently have some players in their 20's. We have several players who use crutches and one year we had a player in a wheel chair. Region 207 is very proud to be have been the first region in 5 states around Kansas to have started a VIP program. If you want to see what the true goal of AYSO, come and watch our VIP team play soccer. No matter which team scores every body cheers from both teams. Area 4U Director Rob Winters presents VIP Director Jerome Ewald with an autographed soccer ball from the MLS Kansas City Wizards. The ball was auctioned off at the Section 4 meeting in KC. Area U got the winning bid at $700. The money will go to the Section 4 VIP program. |
